Swifts Receive Kit Grant

Swifts u11s will certainly be looking the part as they trot out onto the pitch this season, as they will be wearing a brand new kit after Swifts have been awarded a Football Foundation kit grant.

The new Nike kit, worth £400, was awarded to the team as part of the Football Foundation's Junior Kit Scheme. This provides new strips and equipment to teams across the country and is fronted by Arsenal and England star Theo Walcott.

The Football Foundation is dedicated to revitalising the grass roots of the game, constructing modern football facilities, developing football as a force for social cohesion and as a vehicle for education in communities throughout the country. Swifts have already benefited from a kit grant 3 years ago and a minor grant to help train and equip our coaches. The committee are also looking towards a major Football Foundation Grant for the new changing room project - fingers crossed!
